ZAIN NAYANI | MBA, CPA, CGA, ACCA, CAFM

Born in a hard-working Ismaili family in Karachi, Pakistan, Zain Nayani has a B.Sc. in Applied Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. Zain has held senior leadership and management positions in various Indigenous organizations. He is a Visiting Lecturer at the Beedie School of Business (SFU) and served as member of British Columbia’s Indigenous Climate Adaptation Technical Working Group. Zain is an Affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has been a Fellow since 2017. He is also a Member of Chartered Professional Accountants of BC and Canada and a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager through AFOA Canada.  Zain established ZN Advisory in 2013. Community Development Analyst

Lungten Wangmo | MBA

Lungten has a calm and composed personality who enjoys hiking and singing. Born and raised in Bhutan, Lungten comes from a humble background and has been influenced by Bhutan's primary development philosophy known as Gross National Happiness. Lungten's professional journey began in Bhutan, where she worked for over six years as a Human Resource Officer. In November 2021, Lungten moved to Canada to pursue her dream of furthering her education by pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo. During her final internship, she had the opportunity to work with Allied Certifications Ltd., a consultancy firm that collaborates with Indigenous nations in Tofino, British Columbia. This experience sparked her passion for being actively involved in the reconciliation process, providing her services, and learning from Indigenous communities in Canada. Her decision to explore the values and beliefs of Indigenous communities through her studies and work is a testament to her dedication and desire to contribute positively to reconciliation efforts.

ELYSE LINDGREN | B.ENV. REM

Born and raised in Kelowna, B.C. (the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Syilx/Okanagan people), Elyse spent most of her summers camping which sparked her love and connection to nature.  Passionate about climate equity and environmental stewardship, Elyse graduated from Simon Fraser University with a bachelor’s degree of Environment, majoring in Resource & Environmental Management and a certificate in Sustainable Development. She is committed to doing work that addresses the root cause of our world’s issues today such as climate change. She believes that this work must be guided by and centred on Indigenous Peoples and is thrilled to work alongside Indigenous nations and communities in her role as a Management Analyst. Talent Specialist

Sehar Nayani | M.Ed, HRM, CPHR

Sehar is daughter of Yasmin and Firdous Nayani, was born and brought up in Karachi, Pakistan. She is a proud and humble member of a global community called the Shia Ismaili, also known as the Aga Khan community. Her love language is hosting and cooking for her loved ones. The artist in her keeps her busy during her downtime through dancing, painting and esthetics. She moved to Canada in 2015 and joined the MEd (master’s in educational leadership Program) at Vancouver Island University. She began her journey in hope of being a teacher to young students in an education sector in Canada after completing her masters, but her journey led her to discover the passion of facilitation in different capacities and today, She work as Development Coach in a corporate and Traditional environment and has been working as a Human Resource Manager at ZN Advisory since 2020. After her M.Ed, and Human Resource Management Certification she is now on her journey of Chartered Professional of Human Resources.
