ZN Advisory is a social-purpose advisory firm located in Vancouver, BC on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples – səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. About You
As we take the next step in our journey, we are looking to add more talent to our team. Currently, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Community Development Consultant who is passionate about building self-sufficient, sustainable, and vibrant communities. Through this role, you will also contribute positively and meaningfully towards the Indigenous reconciliation process. You will help eliminate the social injustices and inequities that unfortunately still exist in our world. By developing and implementing actionable resiliency plans, you will prepare communities for the environment and economy of tomorrow. Does this sound like you? Duties and Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a Community Development Consultant located in Vancouver, BC. The Community Development Consultant will collaborate with our clients and support them to achieve their visions by creating and implementing meaningful community plans. More specifically, they will be leading and overseeing project management activities ensuring timely planning, client onboarding, service delivery and quality control. They will also be providing guidance and support to junior consultants and project teams, sharing industry best practices and knowledge. Internally, they will be developing and implementing efficient operational processes and workflows to optimize resource utilization.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
Community planning and implementation expertise
Experience in project management and capacity building
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent work ethic and critical thinking ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage people, technology and money
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Understanding of Indigenous community needs and cultural sensitivity
Bachelor's degree in related field, Master's degree preferred
Ability to drive and travel to offsite work locations
